Biography

Yang Li, Ph.D. in Surgery (Plastic Surgery), Fourth Military Medical University, is the former Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Xijing Hospital. He has served as the lead surgeon for 30 years to date and has experience with more than 10,000 major surgeries. He focuses on breast aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and adheres to the philosophy of minimal tissue damage and natural postoperative appearance. Drawing on extensive clinical experience and superb skills, he performs refined surgery. He is not only a member of the Breast Plastic Surgery Expert Committee of the Plastic Surgeons Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, but also a member of the Breast Plastic Surgery Branch Committee of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.

In implant-based breast augmentation, he is skilled in endoscope-assisted procedures and is able to operate under direct visualization. Incisions via the axilla, inframammary fold, or periareolar approach are all feasible. He recommends a more suitable treatment plan based on the patient's actual condition, which not only saves time but also reduces injury to surrounding tissues. He uses all commonly available implants, with Xingyi being used relatively more often.
